A woman lies on a white surface, resting her head on a large container, looking at the camera. Behind her, there is a painting of a topless woman with hands covering her eyes and a halo around her head. The woman in the photo is wearing a black tank top and black pants, with her feet slightly elevated and crossed at the ankles.

Within & Without

A sculpture of a house with uneven, tree-like legs and a white picket fence in the background, displayed indoors.

Within & Without is a personal concept I have found within my art practice. I am a multidisciplinary artist exploring the notion of ‘home’. Through large-scale installations, intimate ceramic objects, and self-portraits, I construct visual spaces that hold tension and tenderness — inviting the viewer to witness transformation and repair. As I adopt nature's home, I confront the shadows hidden within and transcend the complexities of belonging. With this practice, I have found myself saying “within & without, I am okay.”
